Dr.Dipankar Bhattacharyya is a renowned Gynaecologist in Kolkata engaged in self practice as a consultant, obstetrician and gynaecologist for the last 13 years since his return from the U.K. Dr.Bhattacharyya completed his MBBS in the University of Calcutta and thereafter DGO and MD from the same University. He then proceeded to the U.K. And subsequently worked in the National Health Service for six consecutive years with competency and gained recognition. He worked in different parts of the U.K., namely--East Lancashire NHS Trust, NHS Lanarkshire, Sperrin Lakeland NHS Trust, MidEssex Hospital NHS Trust St.John’s Hospital, Chemsford, Royal Alexandra Hospital Glasgow, Southampton University Hospital and Sandwell & Birmingham NHS Trust. - Three regional centres out of five in the U.K.

Dr. Bhattacharyya also acquired Membership of the Royal College of Gynaecology, London, U.K. in 2007 and subsequently returned to India gaining experience in modern practice and procedures of the subject. Since his return, Dr.Bhattacharyya has been practising as a Gynaecologist in reputed hospitals and Nursing Homes in Kolkata. The main areas of interests in his practice are - High Risk Pregnancy, Gynaecological Oncology, Laparoscopic Surgery and Infertility. Main hospitals attended by Dr. Bhattacharyya for his practice in Kolkata are: - Bellevue clinic, AMRI—Women & Children, Rabindra Nath Tagore Hospital, Desun Hospital, Kothari Medical Centre, RG stone hospital. He also performs in Columbia Asia, Health Point, North City Hospital, BP Poddar Hospital, RSV hospital, etc.

Dr Bhattacharyya received his fellowship from RCOG.UK and entered the senior consultant’s registrar of Royal College in 2019. A number of his patients in Kolkata and even in other states and countries got benefited by his treatment and still keep in touch. He is pursuing his efforts of gaining recent advances of his subject as well as application of the knowledge in his services with the blessings of his patients.
